'It took approximately three months to bring this collection to life,' the dedicated designer told Daily Mail Australia - the new collection is themed entirely around Dubai and it features pretty prints, dresses, tops and Camilla kaftans

The new collection - which is entirely themed around Dubai - features pretty prints, an array of sundresses, tops, beach bags, scarves and the item which made Camilla famous, the kaftan:

'To me, the kaftan still represents effortless, beautiful and versatile style,' Camilla explained.

'The kaftan is like a canvas for me to sing the songs of my travels in vibrant colour, embellishment and print placement detail.'

I was searching high and low for that Dubai vibe!

The 41-year-old designer added that, while she regularly travels for 'printspiration' and often 'winds up in the most off-the-beaten-track spots... where there is an abundance of inspiration gold for me to absorb', her Dubai trip was a little different:

'At first, finding inspiration wasn't easy and I started to worry. I was searching high and low for that Dubai vibe,' she said, adding that instead she was mainly feeling inspired by Moroccan tile work, Iranian textiles and a fusion of Middle Eastern architecture.

'But after a long lunch in a beautiful open-aired ornate tile-clad restaurant - in which I was surrounded by a multitude of cultures and backdrops - it dawned on me that this was where the magic of Dubai lies. It's a melting pot of cultures,' Camilla said.

From the 'regal tile work and architecture' at her hotel to the 'jaw-dropping ceilings of the Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab mosque', all of Camilla's inspiration is wound up in a pretty, bohemian collection that is true to the designer's inimitable personal sense of style:

'My time in Dubai was adventurous and eye opening,' Camilla said.

'I wanted to encompass these into a print and truly push the boundaries on people's perceptions of Dubai.'

For those wondering what's coming next from the acclaimed designer, there is much to be excited about but also a slight change in direction as to where she is headed:

'I try to steer clear of the mainstream trends as it's important that my collections stay true to my inspirations and creative feeling,' she said.
